I love going to Ainsworth! The hot springs are phenomenal. The waters are not smelly like some hot springs. I have felt rejuvenated in body and spirit while I am in the waters and after leaving. It is a family- friendly place. There are also good explanations about the waters from the history of the First Nations. I highly recommend the restaurant. On a Saturday night you should make reservations if you have a large group. The food is amazing and the staff are always friendly.

I would give a higher rating, but we were not warned about a school class coming in on an otherwise quiet Monday. We were only there for about 30 minutes on the last day of our trip, when the kids started filing in. The resort should have warned the people this was going to happen. We could have gotten lunch and come back. The whole point of the hot springs is to come and soak in peace and quiet, not with 50 screaming kids splashing around, not following any of the rules.

The last time I was here was as a kid in the 1970s. This visit was awesome! We did not have a room reservation and got a room for two nights. One day we day tripped to Kaslo and New Denver. One day I spent hours in the hot springs hot pool and cave. If you have never been here before or have been away for years, you must visit again. Highly recommended!

When it isn't crowded, Ainsworth Hot Spring is a great place to visit. The Cave is fun and extremely hot. I can't stay in the heat for long and I love the cold pool. It feels great. Bring your own towel and water, or be prepared to be overcharged for these items. If you're sensitive to chlorine, you may not enjoy this experience. There's a restaurant upstairs, but I've never tried it. The best time for a quiet experience in the water is early morning around 10. Holiday times are like people soup and way too crowded unless you like being squashed into a small space with way too many people

The hot springs is pretty cool. Didn't spend time in the hotel, we stayed somewhere else.

The restaurant service was prompt and friendly. Food, breakfast was good but dinner was better. Chef and staff know what they are doing!

Very nice, clean facilities and wonderful staff. It is worth staying in the hotel, guest access only to hot spring from 8am til 10:00am. Get to use nice house coat and disposable slippers.
